VOLUNTEER

Second Chance Dog Rescue is a volunteer-powered, foster-based, non-profit animal rescue. Our greatest asset is the dedication and compassion of our volunteers. Our ability to save lives is directly tied to the number of volunteers we have at any given moment.

If you have a passion for animals and would like to help save lives, please consider volunteering! There are many ways you can help even if you have limited time or resources!

Please note: In-person volunteer opportunities are on hold due to COVID-19. There are still many ways to help volunteer remotely. Please reach out to learn how you can help!

Join us for an adoption event on Saturday or Sunday and help to handle our dogs while they meet prospective adopters.

Drivers — ON HOLD DURING COVID-19

Help to drive dogs from boarding or foster homes to events or vet appointments. It is helpful if drivers can stay and handle that dog while at the event, but not required.
